What is the Crookest Place in England?

The Crooked House of Windsor is a heavily tilted historic building built in 1687 at 51 High Street. Built of green oak it tended to buckle and shift as the wood dried out. It was reconstructed in 1718 and is known as England's oldest tea house. During its history it housed a butcher, an antique shop, a jewelry store and now a tea house.

We had a famous pub not far from where we lived called The Crooked House.
It was sold and a few weeks later it burned down ….us locals don’t think it was an accident.
