Cashless payment

I've been doing my payment for groceries or offline shopping 90% cashless,, at 1st I found it very convenient and simple, then lately I realize that I am to dependent on it to the point I basically did not carry any cash with me when I go out, even at home I dont have cash stashed somewhere in drawer or jar. I forgot that mobile phone can lowbat, or there could be problem with internet connection when I need it. I have to slowly change my habit and limit my transaction using cashless payment. I have to remind myself that I need to have emergency cash stash at home. is this the sign of me getting wiser because of age?

It’s definitely wise to have at least a little cash on your person. I always have some in my purse, just in case.

I prefer to pay with my card, no need to bring money with me.

You are right..one need to have emergency cash. I do cashless transactions a lot too but I still hold some cash in case of eventualities
