Quickest shopping trip ever ……

So I wanted to pop, out today just for a couple of items but I already knew that it was going to be hot, hot, hot. I was up fairly early …..hey, I’m retired I don’t listen to alarm clocks these days …..and I was up and out on an early bus. I didn’t actually have to go into town as I just needed to go to Lidl, which is situation just on the edge of the town. I wanted to get a free all butter croissant that I had won as part of an ongoing promotion ( my offer would have run out if I left it til next week and we won’t have time this weekend as we should be having the Grandkids ). I also wanted to get a gammon joint ( ham ). I wanted this for ….maybe ….Saturdays tea. I say ‘maybe’ as it depends what we are doing with the kids and what time they have to go home ! Anyway, as it was early there weren’t many customers in Lidl and I was easily able to get my items …. I used the self service till ….not something I would usually do …. I was able to get the very next bus back home …. Great result I think. You know I love shopping and I can’t remember the last time ….if ever ….that I was in and out of a shop in such a short space of time ! When you go shopping are you ……. A browser …… Or A in, get my items and out …… Sort of person ?
