I don’t know when the holiday decorations will be out in earnest, but I got this (pictured) nutcracker representing the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs free to to review recently. My BIL is a huge Kansas City Chiefs so that will eventually go to him. When do you start decorating for the holidays? Do you start with Halloween?

No deco for Halloween, although we planned to decorate one year in the past. It never happened with "life" happening, but I do have grave stones and some other spookies tucked away somewhere.
Christmas is after Thanksgiving. That is soon enough!!

Just now
I stopped decorating for holidays when Pretty came home from college to stay. She didn't want to help me take down the Christmas tree that year so I haven't decorated since then. (I left the Christmas tree up for a year and gave it away the next year after Christmas.)

I don't decorate. I don't celebrate, so no reason to decorate. When I did, I wasn't one to start early.

I do, well If all in general in September. Your bro in law will love that.

I will move my spring/summer door wreath soon and put up my autumn wreath, full of vibrant colours of fall foliage just in time for Labour Day, that signifies autumn to me. It will remain there until Remembrance Day, then all of my decorations are down out of respect, and come December, the Christmas stuff will go up.
Your bil will like this for his desk.

you know we start early here, right?
But last year, we decorated late and that was okay and I am pretty sure it will be the same this year.
We usually start decorating here by September, in my country that is.
In the house, we start by October 31 to November 1 because it is usually a long break from work to set up the decors.

I don’t blame you.
