Hey everyone, how are you all doing? Hopefully well.
I'm back to share my food and all of that for yesterday and today. I didn't feel like posting anything last night so just skipped it.
Yesterday was a rough day of eating, but honestly most have been.
Meal 1 - 6 oz salmon, cheese stick, and cooked the salmon with butter.
Meal 2 - deli turkey
Meal 3 - more of the deli turkey and a cheese stick
Macros - 905 calories, 9 carbs, 57 fat, 84 protein
Today's food -
Meal 1 - Protein shake
Meal 2 - Spam (cooked in butter)
Meal 3 - 4 oz salmon with butter
Cooked some thin eye of round steak, but didn't like it...so cooked the salmon instead
Macros - 1,142 calories, 7 carbs, 90 fat, 74 protein
I'm trying a bit more fat than protein to see if that helps my blood sugar. It may have, because I dropped to the 70s after meal #2 and now at 90 after meal #3.
But not sure how to fix it going higher over night.
Curious what the weigh in will say on Friday. What do you think?

It sounds like you're paying close attention to how different meals affect you, and keeping a record probably makes it easier to notice patterns over time. One or two days may not tell you everything, so hopefully your records will give you a clearer picture as the week continues. I wouldn't know what changes to suggest regarding blood sugar, but it sounds like something worth discussing with your healthcare professional, especially when you're experimenting with your diet. Good luck with Friday's weigh-in!

Exactly
Courtney should be consulting with a health care professional about all this stuff
Bit Courtney isn't going to like what the health professional says.

It's gone slower again this week so far, but hope once I start adding more steak, and less processed meat it'll go down nicely again.

@Ineeddentures well the processed meat probably makes me hold onto some water weight. Also if I add exercise in, should start going down more. And in will soon
I know it's calories in vs calories out.

Nah Courtney
I said last week it would slow down and stay slow
Between half a pound and one or two pounds a week of you are lucky
Now it's all about speeding your metabolism up , then it will increase again the amount you lose
Trust me
And I dont care what anyone says
There is an equation which applies to everyone regardless of underlying health conditions

I hope it does too, still sitting in the 90s so that is nice.
