Free jam doughnut today

Supermarket Lidl are in the last few days of a promotion where if you buy a product you get a free bakery item.
I have already had a pizza.
I have an apple turnover to collect and an item from today ….not checked what it is yet ….
Today I had a jam doughnut.
I am not spending any more than I would usually, you only need to get one item to qualify for your free item.
Would this sort of promotion appeal to you ?

@traceyjayne Always nice to get something free. Must say though, I much prefer home baking to store bought pastries, cakes etc.

@xFiacre. Oh yes, much nicer, although the doughnuts and muffins are nice from Lidl. I wish the apple turnovers had cream in them though .
Still, a freebie is a freebie ….

It’s worked out pretty well for me. The shop is on my bus route home so I can call in most days….buy 1 item a day and get a freebie.

Yes, that would appeal to me. I don't know if Lidl's have promotions here. I guess they're bound to.
