wonder some words are ancient or specially used by royal

I'm thumbing a book DARK HISTORY OF THE TUDORS,within a letter by Elizabeth I met some words such as plentye,thankeful,ar,and wonder these are ancient style or used by royal merely. a while absent here,hope everybody well

No, those are just the way people spelled words back then. People spelled the word the way it sounded to them. Standardized spelling began in the 1600s through to the 1900s. Thank you. I'm doing fine. I hope you and your family are also doing fine.

shakespeare's plays are written in the same language, i think but i still prefer it in my native language, i must say. its easier
