I had success with dehydrating my tomatoes and courgettes but my herbs too are something I want to dry ….some I use fresh and some I dry.
I was watching a few videos and although I could do this in the oven or air fryer ( I don’t have a dehydrator ), it’s just as easy and no power at all , to simply pick them, wash then, and leave them ….they will dry themselves.
I have done that about three times now with Basil and I have just done another batch ….pick some ready to dry once the previous batch is ready to be jarred up.
I am now going to pick some Sage and get that dried.
So without a dehydrator…..where do I put them …..
On a plate in the oven. ….i rarely use the oven now as I tend to use the air fryer ….so it’s the perfect place…..
I am really enjoying gardening …..I will be more adventurous next year ….

@Traceyjayne Yes, Vine is from Amazon. It’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever done.

As long as you dry the veggies and spices right, they'll stay good forever.

@DaddyEvil …..my tomatoes and courgettes seem to be okay so I’m hoping the herbs will be too.

I was going to ask where you'd put them while they're drying but the oven is a good idea.
