I had so many distractions yesterday that I did not get any reading done here, or finish what I wanted to post. I also did not get things done in the house that I expected to and wanted to. Having power go out twice, even though it wasn't hours on end, did set me back. Then I had a previous customer from the boutique contact me wanting to know if I still sold makeup. I told her yes and gave her my website address. I asked what she needed and told her if I had it in stock, I could ship from my house. She tells me product and I related that it was in stock here. Then she wanted to know mailing cost. I told her I'd have to see how much it weighed and get her mailing address to figure it out. She never gave me her address. I also told her I could meet her the next time I go to Baton Rouge possibly to drop it off. She wanted to know when that would be. I don't know exactly right now. Then she wanted to know where we would meet at because she doesn't drive far. She was always in the boutique and worked back then. This just went round and round in circles again. I asked her if she had Paypal to pay for it. No, she did not. So I left it at I will let you know when I go to Baton Rouge again. This lady is off and has been off. She was weird when coming in the store. I helped her with makeup for her first daughter's homecoming dance and that was easy, but put a lot of stress on me because she kept changing her mind. I told her your daughter is 13; she doesn't need a lot of makeup! Later, one of the owners told me she was a bit kooky. I asked her while we were chatting if she was still working. She told me no, she doesn't work and never has. Funny I recall her working. This made me question my sanity and looked on her Facebook page and yes, she worked at a dental office and it said from 2019 to present. Even if she isn't working right now, she did before! Another crazy thing she told me back then was that they lost their home. I felt sorry for her and her family. Now I'm thinking that was another lie. I just don't get why people have to lie all the time. It's sad!! My conclusion is I won't be making any special trips to Louisiana to deliver makeup for her and may not even let her know when I'm going. She just wants one tube of beauty balm and it's not worth the drama or inconvenience for me. She lives right outside of Baton Rouge to the east of the city. I will be going to the southern part of the city so will take an hour away from my visit to daughter. Nope, don't think it will happen. Have you ever caught someone lying to you?
