Finally Tom and I got to have a fun day away from the house, doctors, and shopping. We went to AmVets and visited with friends. I played the pull tabs and took home $125. Came home in the middle of a terrible storm. Wild looking lightening and pouring rain. I went what we might call the Back Way..away from traffic and went down streets I know do not flood. Came home and we had Texas Hash reheated. The truck is ready, so we will pick it up tomorrow. I am feeling better every day. So far Prednisone is working.

That really does sound like a fun day, and winning $125 must have made it even better! ?? It must have felt good to get away from doctors, shopping and the usual routine for a while and just enjoy time with friends. I'm glad you knew a safer way home during that storm too. Best of all, it's lovely to hear that you're feeling better every day. Hope tomorrow is another good one when you pick up the truck.
