Good morning August 20

12 days until the ber months. The deer were sprinting though the lawn this morning. That is unusual for them. Something must have startled them because normally they are just moseying around chomping on leaves and grass. I didn't hear anything though..but wonder if there was something in the woods that gave them pause, and a decision to run for it. Who knows? In other funny news, my phone was making the weirdest noise this morning. Somehow the setting must have gone to vibrate, but instead of just vibrating it was also ringing like a bell dong, dong..Gonna have to check those settings. Anyway, have a good one. I bet your day will be better than mine.

Deer startle easily so anything could have sent them scurrying. I'm always amazed at how fast they can run when they want to.
Hope your day goes well. My day is off to a good start. I'm enjoying my coffee and easing into the day.

Coming right up! I mean it can still be hot, but generally isn't so humid. It has been feeling reasonably nice here the past couple of nights.

That is right, they spook easy. Sometimes any sound or smell out of the norm will make them take off.
