It's about 2 p.m. here in Nigeria, and I'm currently at the hospital with my stepdad. Things have not been easy lately, so it's been a little difficult to keep up with updates.
The good news is that he was finally able to eat a small amount of solid food today after being on a drip for the past three days. It's a small step, but it gives us hope.
He looked a bit brighter this morning, which is encouraging. I'm grateful the hospital has reliable power and backup, so I've been able to keep my devices charged.
The weather's cloudy, which I always enjoy. And, I'm hoping it stays cool. Thanks to everyone who keeps him in their thoughts and prayers. Please keep praying for his full recovery. I hope you're all having a good day, and I'll share another update when I can.'

It sounds like he's making some good progress and hopefully as he's able to eat more it will help his recovery. Keeping him, you and your family in my good thoughts and prayers,

Based on my experience when someone who is in medical treatment able to eat solid food it shows a great progress

Glad to hear that your step father was able to eat a small amount of solid food today
When Yvonne was on hospital I kept my phone and power bank charged up at their expense
