So, as you know, The Mister works away Monday to Friday …..at the moment he is working in Scotland ….may as well be the other side of the planet ….
On a Monday he is up at 4am to make the long journey, then he has to do a full, long days work.
On a Friday , he works, but not all day….then he travels home.
Today, because of traffic and accidents, it took him over 7 hours to drive home.
We have missed tea at Moms ….we usually all share a takeaway on a Friday ….and he hasn’t time for a sleep , which he always needs after the journey,
I’m so pleased that he is home but I wish he was working closer to home.

@celticeagle. He takes his holidays December and January…..he works outside and our weather often means he can’t work at that time. No work, no pay ….

Well, that gave you an extra 7 hours with your boyfriend.

I'm sorry you missed seeing Mom today. I hope everything else is going well.

@kareng he will be there til December when he takes his holidays ….he usually goes back to work at the end of January ….so it depends if the job is finished by the time he goes back. He is hoping it will be finished by the time he goes back in January and hopefully the next job will be closer to home.
