Missing dog reunites with his owner in Oklahoma

An owner of a 10 year old male border Collie named Rio who ran away from his home in Oklahoma in late July was recently returned with his owner after he was returned by a concerned citizen last week at the Guilford County animal shelter in North Carolina last week.
When the veterinarians saw a microchip on Rio, they contacted the owner of Rio to inform her the good news that her dog was safe and sound.
The owner of Rio took a flight to Greensboro North Carolina to reunite with her dog via an airplane ride and take him home and Rio would meet his with his sister who is a nine month old dog.
Dogs that reunite with their owners are wonderful stories.
