Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 60 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Where did summer go? It was another awful night. I had a terrifying nightmare. I woke up with my heart racing and a wicked headache. I thought I was having a heart attack! Then I just laid in bed for awhile trying to calm down. Then I wind up napping in the afternoon and the cycle continues. This crap had better settle down by next week. I was supposed to go to the Apple Store today to get the phone set up but we'll see if that happens. The laptop is dying too so we'll see about that. If not I'll go over to the pool for awhile. What's everyone else up to today?

I’m so sorry you had another nightmare. I wish we knew how to stop it.

I’ve rarely had a nightmare in the sense of waking up screaming or terrified. I have had dreams so vivid I woke up thinking they were real (I remember having one when I was home recovering from surgery: dreamed I was back at the base in Norfolk, and I was quite happy to open my eyes and see that I wasn’t). I wonder if some of your medication is combining with the “back-to-work dread” to produce that. Good luck with the phone, too. I have a laptop, but I really don’t use it that much. Most of what I do is on the iPad.

I am sorry about the nightmares. I have one every once in awhile but not like yours. When I do have a nightmare it jerks me awake and I generally am done sleeping for a while, but that’s it. I sure hope you feel better, get the phone going and see what ails the laptop. We got down into low 50’s for a few hours last night.it felt nice!

The only thing that consoled me was the fact that the watch alarm wasn't blaring like when I've tripped/fallen or my family has dealt with A-Fib. I figured it would give me a heads up if I should call 911.

@NJChicaa Yes, at least that was working for you, that was a good thing. In the interest of possibly saving a bit of money, do you have someone who can take a look at your laptop? Like @FourWalls, I was wondering if you don't have two meds not jiving together and possibly causing the nightmares.

I'm sorry to hear that you had another nightmare. Those are definitely no fun. So far, just starting my work day. Thankfully working from home today and the sun is shinning.
