For last four or five days I have been almost completely inactive here. This was my own decision. I was fatigued and wanted get relaxed. So I decided to give up most of my activities and relax my mind. All I now comment back to the notifications. The comments are by @ rakski. I comment back and leave for my shop. But I still feel tired. Can any of you suggest me some other ways to relax??

I understand your plight..Maybe take a little walk, sit somewhere quiet, or just listen to some music without doing anything else. You could also spend some time away from your phone and social media completely. Sometimes the best way to relax is simply to do less and give yourself time to recharge. Hope this helps

Thank you, my friend. During these five days I spent most of my free time with the 90 year old priest in a old temple far away from my house. He would tell me his experiences in the British era when our country was struggling for independence. He would share with me his experiences with his parents who are no more and about how our town looked like in those days. I would use my phone only to talk to my friends and relatives. Still I need some more rest.

You are no doubt tense and tired..we all get that way sometimes. There are some excellent suggestions here. Things that help me...stay off social media for a bit, enjoy nature to it's fullest, take a walk or a ride to some place nearby that's peaceful, and it helps me a lot to read a book. I get lost in a story and that calms me a lot.

@Shiva49 Yes , a few hyaenas are there, but they are dangerous only when you irritate them Otherwise they avoid facing human beings.

Thank you, my friend. Every early morning I walk to a jungle ten five kms from my house. I don't carry my phone with me. I wander inside the jungle for about one hour. That's the way I enjoy the beauty and simplicity of Mother Nature. Often I come across small animals like jackals, foxes, rabbits and hyaenas. They move from one bush to the other. I don't disturb or chase them. After an hour I return to my house where I have to open my shop. In the evening I shut the shop and go to temple by the side of s jungle. There I spend time with the 90 year old priest who lives there alone..He shares with me his experiences in the British India. His way of sharing his experiences is very interesting. This is how I relax myself. I need a few days more to get relaxed.

I like Michael's suggests of a quiet walk and also just listening to music. A short nap may also help.

Thank you, my friend. I walk ten kms every early morning to a jungle at the outskirts of my town. During last five days I would spend most of my free time with a 90 year old priest at a temple where he lives alone. He would share his experiences with me. He was working as a soldier in a state army and about how our town looked like those days. His way of telling is very interesting. I learned a lot from him. I still need some rest.

@Shivram59 I'm sure he has some great stories to tell. He should journal them about his experience in the state army. That would be a great remembrance for family and friends.

@kareng I will ask him to get his experiences published. He had participated in battles against a Muslim state. I hope he will agree. But the way he states all the accounts of the battles is very interesting.

ThAnk you, my friend. For the last five days I have been using my phone only to talk to my friends and my relatives. No social media, no youtube. So far as listening music is concerned, I listen bollywood and classical music at night before going to bed. I need another four or five days to get relaxed.

@nawala123 Actually I study Sanskrit at night. That's the time when everyone in my family is asleep and nobody disturbs me.

I tend to pray a lot, and at times I write in my gratitude journal. Keeping track of everything I’m grateful for, even small, really helps me.

I have to agree that listening to music can really help. I also find reading a book takes me away from the daily grind and I can escape into a good story,

I try to get enough rest and space out my activities. That helped me even when I was busy working. Now that I am retired, I try to enjoy what I do and keep my mind active. Hope this helps. Enjoy the moments - do the best and accept the outcome.

Thank you, my friend. I enjoy.everything I see around me. I enjoy all weather conditions.I enjoy herds of cows grazing in a field and flocks of birds flying in sky. I sometimes imagine mysel fabject poverty and enjoy struggling to overcome it. Now I spend my evenings with a priest who lives in a temple. He is 90. He shares his experiences with me. He tells me how our town looked like years ago. He remembers when he was just 10 or 12, our country was under the British rule. The way he shares his experiences is very interestingm

@Shivram59 Glad that you relaxed. Mental fatigue will catch up with some once in a while but how we handle it is the most important thing. Happy that you figured a way you could deal with it.

Thank you, my friend. I was not physically tired..It was a mental fatigue. After shutting my shop I would go to a temple every evening and spend time with the old priest..He is 90. He would tell me his experiences .This made me feel relaxed.
