Had a family meeting that was supposed to start at 8 last night. One sister was late so we started at 8:30. Meeting ended at 9. Fast meeting you might think. It was a business meeting and we couldn't go longer than that without actually fighting. Elder sister and one brother almost had it. Brother got aggressive coz he was offended by one innocent question. That's me and my siblings. We never really get along well at all. The longer we are all together in one room, the more chances of things getting so messy. How are you with your siblings?

Yeah I know you and your brother don't really get along well. And there's just the two of you. There's 5 of us.

@LadyDuck Mom had three siblings and she took care of them well and loved them. My brother has three children and she made sure the three of them are close like best of friends. He learned from our parents' mistake.

@toniganzon - I am sure that in every family there are problems among siblings. Mom had 4 siblings, she got along well with two and not with the other two.

My siblings who are older than me do not always eye to eye with me since we have different views of life like hoping to have money to pay our bills.

Oh I am sorry to hear that you and your siblings to not go well in that. I hope that the business is running smoothly despite that disagreements you have about the business. I guess it's really hard to be in good terms when money and business are being discussed on. I sincerely hope you can try to be amicable as business owners of your business. I am just glad that I only have one older sister to contend with and we are in good terms since we became adults. When we were young we seem to be always at odds with one another and when we started to mature and go on separate lives on our own we started to appreciate our siblinghood together and now we are now at peace with each other and just laugh at our childhood rivalry back then.

The argument is never about the money nor the business. It's more of the personal issues one have with another. That's why we don't have meetings that take long or personal issues will come up. We only talk about business and that's it. We are all aligned when it comes to making decisions pertaining to our businesses and the properties we own.

I have one older sister who likes to be the boss. As long as I let her think she is, we’re fine. Luckily, I’m pretty easy going and don’t mind if someone thinks they rule the world.

OK, but sis can be a pain in the butt. She always wants to criticize. However, at times she manages to control herself.

Yeah that' s the same with one of my sisters. She likes to criticize. In fact she told me and my brother she's the only person among us who never make mistakes in the business. Well, that's because my brother and I are younger and nobody is brave enough to point out her mistakes.

I only had one sister and we were very close, always. We stuck together through thick and thin times. She passed away at a fairly young age and I will always miss her. I’m sorry you have these problems, it can’t be pleasant to go through.

Yeah, we each have our personality differences. it's weird. We don't look like we belong to the same parents and even our personalities are all so different.

The positive side is at least you meet and discuss. I know siblings not even on talking terms. We get along well, thankfully. It is give and take for us.
