Yesterday, in the United States, the highest temperature was 119 F (48 C) in Death Valley, California. The second highest temperature? Here in Chickasha, Oklahoma, at 115 F (46 C) is the answer. Everybody is like in August it cools down…no ma’am it does not! My biggest electricity bill is always a result of August. My most favorable month? That would be March. It gets really hot in April again, but March is perfect. What are your best and worst months to pay your electricity bill?

Holy cow! Thats insane. Today it said that it was only 102 here today. But I don't believe it. I think it was 145 in the shade while we were waiting for school to let out. It doesn't cool down here either.

Florida heat is insufferable because although Oklahoma has bad humidity, it still can’t touch Florida.

@AmbiePam I felt like I had gone swimming in a bowl of soup while we we're wating in the car. I HATE it. I know a couple people who have been complaining about the heat in Califnornia and I laugh at them. Because dry heat is not the same. But I don't have to tell you that.

I have something called EMPP (Estimated Monthly Payment Plan), where the electric company tallies up the bills from the previous 12 months and divides it by 12, so I pay the same in a month with $200 usage as I do in a month with $50 usage.

Same here. August is summer, hot summer! Worst month is always July or Aug. Best month is usually October or April. Last year April was still freezing here. Still say the seasons are shifting!

Best probably April..Worst August which encompasses the bill from July. October is also a good month for the power bill..

That is definitely quite warm. I can definitely imagine that your bill must get high in the warmer months.

The worst time to pay the electricity bill is around June through September due to the intense heat outside.

Oh my. That’s just way,way too hot!! I’m so sorry. Last year I think my highest bills were from August and January. I think the temperatures we usually have between about the middle of September to the end of October are perfect!
