Labor Day

I have really been wanting to see my sister and her family so I was ecstatic when I heard they were coming to visit Labor Day (September 7th). They’re just coming up for the day, but that is plenty of time for me to give them lots of hugs and kisses. Annelyn and Hudson’s birthdays are on the 6th and 9th so I can give them their birthdays presents too. Annelyn will be seven and Hudson will be eleven.
Anyone know their Labor Day plans?

I usually try to go for a good bike ride. Or I just hang out in my place. I don't go do anything, though.

@AmbiePam - It's fun. Riding through the parks can get tricky due to all the people cooking out and kids running all over the bike path.

That will be fun. Probably packing, I will be leaving on the 10th for the wedding. It will be nice to get out of here for a few days, and to participate in a fun and unique experience like that. That reminds me I have to get my gift sent off.

I am so happy for you that you will all gather before school starts back up again and their schedules change.
I finish working tomorrow and will enjoy a week off from work, that leads into the Labour Day weekend.
Our son is off from work next week, and he needs our help as he has eye appointments and hair appointments for the girls. They both still get a bit nervous at the hair dresser, and they like to be supported by a little family entourage. They eye appointment is a 3 person deal, our son has an app't also, so Grandpa will go with Harper in for her exam and I will go in with Willow. The girls should be fine.
A friend of ours wants me over for the day when I am off, she wanted to do this last month. I am not certain what she has planned, just that Ron needs to drop me off and I can call when I am ready to go back home again. She wants to celebrate my birthday. I feel a bit self conscious, I don't like the limelight on me.
