I woke up to 3 texts from the cleaning lady

I haven't seen her in awhile due to our combination of health issues. My neighbor cleaned the apartment a couple of times but I think she's pissed at me for only sending her $200 for keeping an eye on the cats for 3 weeks. I haven't heard from her. Maybe she's busy actually working. Anyway the regular woman texted asking if she could come yesterday. I was happy to see her. She doesn't do the best job but she deals with the stuff that I can't be bothered with. She spends a couple of hours and we chat while she works. Charlie the cat LOVES her and even Adso is coming around. So she did her thing and I got distracted after she left. I forgot to Venmo her the money. She knows I'm good for it. Anyway she must have been straight broke because the 3 texts sent over the course of last night and early this morning were asking for me to send her money because she couldn't even buy her cigarettes. I sent her the $$ so she should be happily puffing away now. Hey whatever--I'm certainly in no position to judge. She scratches my back and I scratch hers so to speak.
