The Mystery of the Midnight Sound is Solved

Last night I heard the strangest noise, right as the air conditioner kicked on. It sounded like it you had a dozen aluminum coke cans rolling around in a clothes dryer. It sounded like it was coming from right outside my bedroom window near the air conditioner. I thought maybe it was a short burst of rain as I saw one streak of lightning, but it really didn't sound like that. So this morning I sent hubby out to the back patio to check . You won't believe what the noise was!!! He found a shredded mouse or possibly a mole or chipmunk in the air conditioning unit. It appears as though the animal was inside the a/c storing his seeds when the a/c kicked on, sucking him up into the fan and throwing him around, which is the thumping noise I was hearing. Isn't that just crazy? This is just a generic photo of a dead mouse. Our mouse was completely shredded to a pulp.
