Phone rings …..brr brr …..brr brr Me……” Make me a Winner “ ( you are supposed to answer the phone saying make me a winner if you have entered a competition on a certain radio station, and you can win thousands of pounds. I haven’t entered the competition but when I know it’s a scam call I say it anyway, as it confuses the scam caller as it’s not the response they thought they were going to get ….its not in their script, so they struggle for a reply ). Me …..speaking Scam caller …..im Angela and I’m calling from ( insert any company as even after asking her to repeat it three times I still couldn’t understand quite where she said she was calling from ). Scam caller ….( by now sounding a little stressed for some reason ) …do you own the property ? Me …..I own A property Scam caller ….im calling about your debt Me …..which debt ? Scam caller …..we can reduce the amount of your debt Me ….thats kind of you Scam caller …..do you have your bank details ? Me …..I do Scam caller ….if you give me your details we may be able to get you a refund Me …..see if you can first, Scam caller …..it doesn’t work like that, Me …..I didn’t think it would. Scam caller …..do you have another phone number ? Me …..why ? …is this one not working ! Scam caller ….. do you have car finance ? Me …..I haven’t got a car , so I shouldn’t think so…..would you like me to check ? Scam caller ……Madam , are you wasting my time ? Me …..probably, but I am having fun ……and you did ring me !
