4 days until September 1. However, it is probably going to be hot as blazes that day. I guess someone didn't get the memo. I went to the group last night, it was fun. We went to a Chinese restaurant in town, which is really very good. I wasn't planning to eat, because I had already made a salad for myself at home, but I couldn't resist their sushi which was very reasonably priced. I had a Philadelphia roll. Delicious.had smoked salmon, cream cheese, and cucumber in it. Anyway, the group has been into doing open mic readings at a bookstore in Charlottesville. Apparently, it is like a poetry slam but you can do any kind of reading for 5 minutes. Val, the one I was talking about read her piece she was going to do there It was so good. A couple of other members did too, but there's was not as interesting to me..though not bad. Kind of sad I didn't get invited to go this thing, or know about it..but I haven't been participating in the group as much. I liked meeting at the Chinese place though maybe I should suggest we go there every other month.
