Hoping for blackberries …..

Last time I was at the caravan the blackberries were just starting to appear. They were not quite ready by the time I came home. With all the sunshine and hot weather we have been having im sure that they soon ripened and were picked by the locals . I am hoping though that more grew as I am going to the caravan today for ….well, as long as I can, providing Mom is okay . One thing I am really looking forward to is going blackberry picking . Crumbles and pies for the Winter months …. Yes please x

Good luck I hope there are plenty of blackberries left. Have a great time although it is bucketting it down here in Kent!

My dad planted a blackberry bush (the packet said blueberries, but they were blackberries), and he’s gotten a lot the past few years. This year, though, the crop just wasn’t as good. Which is a shame because Diana makes a great blackberry cobbler.
