Do you like surprises?

I like surprise presents.
Surprise news? Unless they're good news then I might just like it. But sometimes surprise news could turn out to be bad. So, not really.
My friend said he was supposed to give me a surprise present but he couldn't contain himself and showed me what it was. I was still surprised though because he just bought it out of the blue when he saw it.
He said he was reminded that I needed something like that. How thoughtful.

Same here.
Every time he sees something nice that reminds me of him, he has this urge to get it. That's what he told me.

I like surprise gifts, but I don't like surprises in general. Like, I would totally hate if someone threw a surprise birthday party for me. I would probably turn and run! haha
It was nice that. your friend gave you a nice surprise present and was thinking about you.

When I was still teaching in a language institute, my students surprised me on my birthday with a cake and a present. The present came from only one student. He was so thoughtful. He knew exactly what I wanted. I dated that student for awhile. And no, he wasn't younger than me. We were of the same age.

@toniganzon having a teacher/student relationship is frowned upon here, and even against the law in many places, regardless of the ages of the student and/or teacher.

@moffittjc If it's a university or high school, it can be considered unethical. it was just a language institute, not bound by the formal school rules and regulations.

That’s so cool! I like surprising people. I get a lot of things free to review, and if I get something that reminds me of you, you will be getting surprised with it. A few Mylotters have even gotten surprises from me.
My 15 year old niece likes to surprise me with random FaceTime calls, and I love that.
