Good morning 8/29

3 days to go til the ber months..although kind of hard to get excited about it when it will be 90 + that day. Anyway, off to Cville today to do a mystery shop. I was lucky to have a good one fall into my lap since I can't go to Maryland on Monday. These shops are pretty easy and I have done a few of them before. Unfortunately, as per usual the manager wasn't answering the phone though which led to a bit of a problem, but hopefully will be OK. I wish Charlottesville wasn't so far, but it is what it is. What are you up to today?

I cannot believe that finally August is reaching its end. I am sure that September will be better, not so hot as the past two months. I chatted with the neighbor most of the afternoon.

I’m staying out of the 100 F heat. Luckily, I’m up really early today, and I got a good walk in for Sadie. I’m just going to catch up on reviews and do surveys. I’m way behind on both.

That sounds like a plan. I do so many surveys, studies on Prolific per day it seems like my fingers will fall off, but hey gives me quite a bit of extra income which I both need and appreciate having. Yeah, you gotta do those surveys so you can get some cool souvenirs on your trip!

@AmbiePam That is really good...yes. Usually, to be that good they have to be some kind of a focus group or something, or something that makes you want to tear your hair out. Prolific has all these decision making tasks which can really be quite involved..with all these rules and quizzes on whether you understood the rules and so forth.It's like being in school. I hate them, but often they pay rather well.
