I'm not trying to be melodramatic but these few days are the anniversary of my divorce (which I clearly have never gotten over) as well as the 3rd anniversary of my dad's tragic ocean accident. I've tried to find the posts I made about his accident and passing back then but no luck.
Anyway today is a work buddy's birthday. That is a whole different story for another post but 3 of the bio biotches went out 3 years ago for her birthday. This picture popped up in my FB memories. Yes @AmbiePam I am the one in the Friends shirt!
This is also the last FB picture that my father ever reacted to. I know that he was happy that I was out with friends. I sent it to my mother earlier and she just responded with a crying emoji.
The anniversary of dad's accident and passing are in a couple of days. It feels like just yesterday. I guess you never get over losing your dad.

Bless you, you’ve been through so much. I’m glad your dad saw this picture of you looking so happy. And I think losing a parent so unexpectedly is always harder than losing a parent the way I did. My mom was young, but I had years to say goodbye. You didn’t get that.
And you know you are rocking that shirt looking good.

Virtual hugs and many blessings to you. I know how you feel. Your dad is ever with you and watching over you, and he would want you not to be so sad. Lost mine at 10 years old and miss him to this day, As for that other business about your divorce, at least you know he is on this earth and you can still see and talk to him but when they're gone, like my hubby, it is a constant stab to the heart every time I remember and long for him,

I thought that you were dealing with something pretty big, but I really had no idea.
I recognize you in the photo, is that your sister in the front as well?
I only remember you posting 1 picture from a birthday gathering that your family had at a restaurant with her in it.
I found this:
But you have the memories still, and those of us who know you and genuinely care about you remember. I personally remember reading your post and having a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that I felt like I knew where the words would lead me to, I was sad to be sure.
I cannot remember the actual post of you and your ex ending things, I am sorry.
But both of those things happened in your life, and I know that they have made you the strong and wise person that I feel that you are.
If Doug reacted to that post with a happy emoji, I am sure that he would have sent so many in the posts since then, as he would remain proud of his daughter-she's an incredible person, a talented cook who is sharing her passion and knowledge with a young generation, and she has to be a chip off of the old block, cuz you have made me laugh on many occasions!
Keep on keeping on NJ, you know the pain, you know that life must go on. You are right though, life just ain't the same when a daughter loses her Daddy, and I am sorry that you know that now.

I wish I could say I was using hyperbole but I'm not. I received a text message from my cousin at like 5 pm telling me that I had to rush to the ER because my...
