To curl, or not to curl?

Mine has a little wave to it but not really curly. I keep it up most of the time though, you know that. It’s started getting a little curlier the older I’ve gotten, or maybe it’s that way because I keep it up more. Idk. lol

My hair used to be wavy, a nice wave, until they shaved it all off from my brain tumour operation, that was when I was 12 years old. It grew back in, the only thing was it was black, no more brown, and straight, no waves at all. Of course when you consider the circumstances, black and straight was better than, well the outcome they originally expected. So, at the tender age of just 13, my Gramma would take me, after gaining permission from my parents, with her to her hair dresser, and I would get a perm. Yes a nice curly perm, but in the mid '70's that was 'the' thing to do. But without it, my hair would have been so dark and so straight. Several times I have been mistaken for being part native, because of the darkness. I went with Gramma to her hair dresser to make sure that I was in good hands as chemicals can be so dangerous. Still, all of these years later, I will take a perm annually, just for the curl, which fades quickly to waves. If I could figure it all out, I am sure that Annelyn will too.

My hair has always been wavy. No matter how much I tried to straight it when I had very long hair, as soon as there was humidity in the air, the waves were back.

Pretty and I both have curly hair but I can straighten mine when I'm fresh out of the shower and it stays that way. Pretty's hair will hold curls well and she likes it curly.

My hair was very straight until I grew it back after I got out of the army. Then it got curly in places for some reason. Now, it's obvious I'm losing it, and I'm not going to be the guy trying to hold on to every last strand, so I shave it all off now.

I love curls. Of course, as a teen I fought them all the time, the style was long and straight...but I really couldn't achieve that. I do have to say that my hair is still curly if I wash it and just let it go, but it's not as curly as it was as a small child or young adult. My hair is very fine in texture, Aunt always said I had ''baby hair'' so maybe I do. I wear it up all the time as it tangles easily. I haven't had short hair but just a few times in years and years...when it's short, I can't even get a brush through it, it just curls too much. So at least the length helps it not kink up. It is on the wavy side. It seems to be a bit wavier now than when I was young.

I haven’t got much hair now, but when I did, it was very straight. It could even be described as lank. I’m not sure I’d have wanted curly hair, but on a girl it looks great.

one spokesperson here on the news, straighten her curles and i regret seeing that. so, my dear, keep them no matter what i have wavy hair with here and there one or two curls. i soemtimes regret brushing my hair cause my waves/curls go easily away but i need to brush it

My hair is straight. My mother had straight until she hit her 60's. She now has curly hair.

For some reason the comments on this aren't loading for me. I think it's the silly Starlink connection that he child insisted we get. I am not impressed, but anyway. I wish my hair held curls. I have to put so much product into it in order to get it to hold curl and its annoying. It will very rarely hold curls.
