Had a very stressful weekend.

So some time back, i made a post about someone close to me who died immediately after child birth. Her funeral was fixed on Saturday 29th of August. We had to travel to her hometown for it. A journey that would normally take within an hour or so, we ended up spending close to five hours due to a combination of bad weather and extremely bad road. During our journey we came across another car that just had an accident and two lives where lost. After the burial we spent hours on the road again going back home, we had issues with the car, ran out of fuel in a very lonely area at night, and after everything we got home around after 10 in the night. On sunday immediately after service i had to travel again to pick my nieces who wanted to spend the remainder of their holiday here with us, but due to the road it would be impossible to go back same day, so it's Monday morning and the time is currently after 8, and i have been on the road with the kids since morning. Am extremely tired.
How did you spend your weekend?

I'm sorry so many things happened this weekend. I hope you'll get a chance to sleep late after you're home. I'm sure you had a great time with your nieces, though.

@eLdav1s You're welcome.
If you're that tired and emotionally spent, you should have told your nieces you just couldn't do it. My opinion, of course.

Lol yea, but the kids are so eager to come, they had already called days back excited that they can't wait to come and spend their remaining holiday here, just couldn't bring myself to hurt them. And i won't be the only at home too (though they are probably going to disturb me all through their stay
