Pandan is a tropical plant belonging to the genus *Pandanus*, commonly known as pandan. It has fragrant leaves that are widely used as a flavoring in various Southeast Asian dishes. Additionally, pandan is used in some South Asian cuisines as well as in Hainanese cuisine from China.
In Indonesia, many foods and drinks are flavored with pandan leaves to produce a good aroma.
