Dolly Parton was always so positive, always smiling. I really admire that. I have struggled with my depression and it has been very difficult to be positive at times.
Her songs were about surviving pain, leaving love, not disappearingbecause a loved one does, and so much about our basic lives.
She planned ahead into the future and has new songs and things coming. She always looked to the future and planned it all so well.
She thought about what would happen when she was gone. I've been doing that same thing with my family. Getting them ready for the inevitable.
Faith and humor saw her through
I have one of those and it sure helps me a lot.

For someone who soared to such lofty heights in her career, her feet were firmly planted on the ground. A friend of mine said it’s so appropriate that the statue of her in Sevierville shows her barefoot.

Yes, that's true. She was always herself and didn't things change her at all.

She certainly always had her feet on the ground and saw the good in everything.

She certainly left her mark on this world and I don't think anyone can say anything bad about her.
