I am so very glad to see the end of August!

Stay with me here a minute...
This month has been one of the hardest months in a very, very long time. So many big issues, the broken AC for nearly a month, son has an escalating issue that has required endless appointments, tests, and I have to drive him to another city to go to the hospital there this Friday. It's like the ancient saying we've all heard our entire lives ''when it rains, it pours.''
Even though August has one more hour to go here, I have officially kicked it to the curb. We need a positive start to a brand new month, so BYE-BYE, August!! I didn't let you take us down, and September will be better!

Son said this evening that he is very thankful that the AC is fixed but he wishes it just wasn’t so hot and we could open the windows. Maybe the heat wave will be over in a few weeks. We can hope!

@MarieCoyle - During the day is still too hot here to keep the windows open, it's fine in the morning, but I have to close in the afternoon.

I agree wholeheartedly, we need a new, fresh good month, Amber. I hope it will be better than August was for us and for others.
Strange, but August has always been my least favorite month of all. I think by August I am sick of the heat, and the mosquitoes. The grass and the tree leaves look tired and in need of a good rest.
