So it's not a dragon, but a lizard?

I hate misleading titles. This one was published in The New York Times and many other major outlets, and not just some spammy blogs.
So the title goes something like “real-life dragon discovered in Indonesia”.
I click, thinking I’ll see a fire-breathing creature, but it turns out to be a small lizard, with spikey spine, and they called it a dragon.
I should've seen that coming.

There are certain lizards that are named dragons. They have resemblance to the dragons anyway.
ARen't dragons fictitious creatures?
