Getting a Drs appointment . What a palarva ! / myLot

You remember the palarva we had a couple of months ago when Mom had Shingles and we couldn't get to see the Dr .. phone calls going back and forth. .. Well, she has had a letter asking her to make an appointment for her flu jab. She popped into the local pharmacy , where she has had it done before, only to be told that they don't it any more So, she has to phone the Drs and make an appointment to go there. She rang this morning at 10am ....waited in a queue for .... forever, then heard a message that said press 1 for ring back. You would keep your place in the queue. So she pressed 1. It is now almost 2pm and she still hasn't had her ring back call Sorry, but I don't believe that the queue was over 4 hours long ! She is going to ring again ! What a palarva ! How easy is it to get an appointment at your Drs ?

@traceyjayne I have never had a problem getting through because I have never tried. Don’t like doctors. Dentists are fine though.

I don't have much trouble getting an appointment with my doctor but I do think your mom waiting that long for a return all was ridiculous. Hope she was able to call again and speak to someone.

@Marilynda. She rang back and spoke to the receptionist who said she was 3rd in the queue ....I don't believe that ... Anyway Mom couldn't make the appointment as they haven't got the vaccines in. She was told to ring back in three weeks ! Even more palarva !
