Look at that--people are using MapQuest again

Trump's megalomaniac personality has had him attempt to rename the Gulf of Mexico to "Gulf of America", the Strait of Hormuz to "Strait of Trump", and now because he is pissed off at Canada he has directed the Interior Department to update maps calling Lake Superior "Lake America". This is just stupid BS semantics and they certainly are making life more affordable for you, right? 
Apple Maps infuriated people by caving to Trump's demand and changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico. Well now the MapQuest has come out of retirement and is all like "hold my beer"--they have refused to adjust the lake's name. And you know what? The MapQuest app has had more downloads than Apple and Google Maps because people just think the whole thing is stupid. Like almost 70% of Americans are not in favor of it.
Good job MapQuest for refusing to bend the knee!

There was a news blurb last night about Canada erecting a very large sign specifying the name of the Lake is Ontario, not Lake of America. They are standing firm on this.

Not to mention all of the American and Canadian indigenous tribes, from where the name Ontario (“beautiful lake” in Iroquois language) originated.
The Museum of Indigenous Peoples put it so nicely on their website:
A government may direct its agencies to print a different label. It cannot make the 1641 record disappear. It cannot separate the lake from the Native languages that named it, nor can it erase the nations whose relationships with these waters continue.

Came to mind today Oh give me ahome where there is no Trump where all is normal again and if Trump comes on the range a cow would kick him in the head,
