Made it back from Montana.

I am home safe from my road trip to Montana. Maybe I'll do some posts about random moments I recall, like when it hailed on me in Nevada, or hanging out with my friend's family. Or Arby's. Ah, Arby's.
Today, I'm going to spend some time "developing" the photos I took. I'll attach one of the bridge after I repaired it. The cabin log from last Summer held up fine.
How has the past week been for you? I haven't followed the news. Is the war in Iran finally over? Has Trump stepped down? Did the San Francisco Giants win a baseball game?

I am glad the trip went well and it sounds as if you had a nice time. Somehow, I knew that your first post after you got home would have a mention or two of Arby's..you do love your Arby's!
Are any of the leaves there turning yet? I know some years they turn earlier than others.

@LeaPea2417 The Judiths are an "older" mountain range in Central Montana. They are not part of the Rockies.

I am glad to see you back. You always spend a lot of time fixing stuff when you are there. You surely do not spend your vacation doing nothing. Well Trump won the war for the 1000th time, but it seems that soon he is going to declare that "the war is over"!?

Welcome home, pony!
I spent the last week in the hospital with a test drain of my spinal fluid. I'm thinking clearly again, am walking correctly again and feeling much better now. I go back to see the neurologist in another week to see what she's decided after getting the results of the tests the hospital performed while I was there. (I'm hoping she decides to install the permanent drain so I can stay the way I am now.)
I have no clue about what's going on in the rest of the world. I had access to a television in my hospital room but only turned it on once, couldn't find anything interesting to watch and shut it off again. I spent my time reading ebooks I loaded onto my phone before I was admitted to the hospital.
I enjoyed most of my time in the hospital. The nurses and nurse's aides were all very kind and fun to talk with. (I wasn't enthusiastic about the sponge baths they gave me. 
I wasn't allowed to take a shower while I was there since I was a fall risk. My room, at least, didn't have a tub in the bathroom.)
It felt really good to take a shower after I got home again.

I think Trump seems to be in a fix.
A total withdrawal would mean a big prestige issue.
Yet the way Iran has held up means continuing the war would cost US even more.
And straightforward logic does not adds up in his plans.
Not aware about San Francisco Giants.
However, we have upcoming Asian Games in Japan where India has some good medal chances.
Rainy season has seen big fluctuations but it has rained quite well in the last few days and the weather is pleasant.
A big relief from umpteen number of humid and hot days we have seen this year- especially after June.
Good to know about your Montana trip.
