I had to get rid of our last Mercury Capri, because it was causing problems with Bob. He was convinced he would drive again. I tried to wait until he went in the nursing home, but that was not possible. My current lawn mower guy, Michael, bought our truck. Then his car died. He was going to buy the Capri but decided it had more issues than he needed to deal with. I called my former lawn mower guy, Daniel, because he picks up scrap metal and junk cars. He took it for scrap, but then decided to fix it up. I took him the title. Evidently he decided not to fix it up, and sold it. I got a Facebook message wanting a bill of sale from a stranger Todd. He bought it from Daniel, misplaced the title, Daniel never had registered it and so did not give him a bill of sale. He needs to file for an "antique" title, and needed a bill of sale. So I mailed it to him today. That poor little car just cannot find a home.

It's good that the Capri is gone, but sad that it may be too expensive to fix. Sadly sometimes they live their life and cannot be repaired. But it's good that you won't have to deal with it anymore.
