It's 7:43 a.m. here. Woke up 30 minutes ago, did a few phone things. It's 24°C, low for today is 23°C and the high is 32°C . Just another normal day. Plan is clean the house, make breakfast, then head to work. Yesterday, I checked on my mum through my sister. Since my stepdad passed, the nieces and nephews stay with her often, so she's not alone. My sister said mum is fine, "in Jesus' name," which made me ask if anything was wrong. She laughed and said she needs babies to keep her busy. I know exactly what she meant. Her subtle way of telling me to get married. Honestly, I've been thinking about that too. Just, no girlfriend in the picture right now. I'm trusting God to connect me with the right person, because it feels long overdue. That's the update. Hope you all have a wonderful day, and I'll share more if anything changes.

Hmm... Do people normally marry late and have kids in your culture? Most people who want kids in the US are married and have kids in their twenties or earlier. Pretty was born when I was 23 but her mom was 36. (Yes, I like older women.

Both my ex-wives were older than me when I married them.) I'm glad your mom is enjoying her grandkids and hope they keep her busy (Please tell your mom I've been thinking of her.

People marry early here too but not in their early 20"s..maybe late 20"s and early 30"s. Most of my friends are married..I can't even point to one that is not married. I just don't know why it's difficult for me to tie a lady down..
