Do you prefer travelling at night or during the day?

I prefer the bus at night. Less people on it, for one thing. And like you said, it's a completely different perspective at night.

It depends on how long and the road I'm going to take. There are roads dangerous to travel at night. When the travel is for long hours, I prefer traveling at night as there is less traffic. But if we are on a road trip, we travel at daytime to see places and stop at one we like

I’m always going to say the day if I’m the one driving. I don’t see well at night. However, if someone else is driving I do enjoy the peacefulness of the outside environment. Overall though, if I had to say one I’d still go back to the daytime.

When driving, I prefer to do it during the day. I hate driving in the dark. I don't remember the last time I took a public commute.

I prefer to travel during the day since I can see the roads better.

Day... travelling at night is too dangerous

I've never traveled anywhere on a bus. I've always driven my car when we were traveling anywhere, so had to stay awake. My daughter is usually asleep when we're driving somewhere on vacations/holiday. I've driven across the US from our home to the West Coast or to the East Coast without stopping except to fuel up the car or to buy food/drinks. We live in almost the exact center of the continental US so it took about 22 hours to reach the coast either direction. I was exhausted when we arrived on either coast so slept around 12 hours after we arrived. My daughter doesn't drive so I always wanted to get the drive over and done with before we did anything else. My daughter, Pretty, came home from college riding a Grey Hound bus once and wasn't impressed. She said she woke up on the trip home and some dude was sucking on her toes. I guess perverts are everywhere.

Travelling by night is better but in some area it is not recommended to go out at night for safety reason.
