I Finally Got to Try It

I don’t normally take pictures of my food, and I rarely actually post them. However, I had been wanting to try the Chicken & Waffle sandwich from Chick-Fil-A since I saw a commercial for it. Two small (really fresh) waffles cover a chicken breast and four pieces of bacon that have been drizzled with maple syrup.
It was delicious. The salty and sweet aspect was spot on, and the chicken breast was as moist as the bacon was crisp. The waffles must have been freshly made, and the syrup was yummy. Even though it was small, it filled my stomach up nice and well. I doubt I ever get it again because of the calories, but I’m glad I tried it. If you get a chance, and it sounds good to you, I would recommend trying it.
Have you tried any good breakfast foods lately?

I bet it is delicious. I had something some specialty from Chick Fil A last year that was really good.I think it may have been chicken club or something. This year the pimento chicken sandwich caught my fancy but I didn't get it. It wouldn't necessarily be the calories that stopped me, but I remember the combo last year was 15 something!

That Chicken & Waffle sandwich sounds really delicious! I love the combination of sweet and salty flavors, and the maple syrup with crispy bacon and juicy chicken sounds like a great combination. Sometimes it’s worth trying something special, even if it’s not something we would eat regularly.
I haven’t tried that particular sandwich, but I’ve also been enjoying simple breakfast foods lately. There’s something comforting about a good breakfast, especially when the food is fresh and satisfying. And I agree, sometimes it’s better to enjoy a treat once in a while without feeling too guilty about it!
