As a special musical treat on a rainy Saturday in Florida, I added one of my favorite songs by Welsh singer Tom Jones singing in duet with Dolly Parton. This song was written by the American songwriter Claude "Curly" Putman Jr. in 1964, marking his first major hit. The video includes the lyrics. I think Dolly and Tom sound so good together

I remember the song sung by Sir Tom Jones called "Green Green Grass Of Home". His duet with Dolly Parton is very good.

It is one of those tunes that is hard to forget once you have heard it. Definitely a classic.

That is a lovely choice for a rainy Saturday. Tom Jones and Dolly Parton really do sound great together, and this is one of those songs that never seems to get old.
