My Brother gave me a gift

This morning I woke up at around ten. I saw that I had cooked Beef Stew. Mama said my eldest brother was coming to visit. So I cleaned the bathroom because I always forget.
He came from his trip to Singapore. He had a lot of gifts. And he gave me a Xiaomi weight scale. But I couldn't download the App because my cellphone was full. But my brother promised to buy me one but not a new one. My only condition was that the space was more than 32gb. But he gave me a 16gb Ipad before, but it was broken and I had to fix it. I didn't have any money.
He also wouldn't come home because he was at a conference, so I brought a gift to their house. He rarely visited but somehow, he always brought something.
Have a nice day

I think most of us would love to have a brother like that! It is nice when someone thinks of you even when they are not around very often.

@Letranknight2015 That is what matters. Nobody is perfect, but being considerate and remembering the people you care about means a lot.

Not all older siblings think about their younger siblings; reading this moved me. @septabchips

He certainly sounds like a thoughtful brother. Even though he does not visit often, it seems he always remembers to bring something for you.

I agree. It is nice when siblings look out for each other, even if they do not see each other very often.

It’s great to have a generous brother who always looks out for you. That weighing scale could be really useful, and it would be even better if you could use your phone to read its measurements. Once you download and install the app, it can not only show your weight but also provide other information like body fat and other details related to your body weight.

@Letranknight2015 Maybe he’s aware that you’re gaining weight, and giving you a weighing scale might make both you and your mother more conscious about it.

I don't even know why he thought of giving me that @rsa101 but I sure know my weight now.

Did you need/want a weight scale? Was your brother surreptitiously saying you are overweight?

Hello @BarBaraPrz I never thought of it. Except another exercise machine, maybe I do need it just in case. He wasn't being suspicious, I am.

Haha, that would be quite a way of dropping a hint! Hopefully he was not trying to tell her anything and simply thought it would be useful.

It's lovely that your brother thinks of you and brings you something whenever he visits, especially when you don't get to see him very often. The Xiaomi scale sounds like a useful gift too. It's frustrating when a phone runs out of storage and you can't install another app. Hopefully the phone he eventually gets you will have plenty of space so you don't have to keep deleting things. More than anything, though, it must have been nice having your brother home after his trip and getting some time together as a family.

t sounds like your brother may not visit very often, but he certainly does not forget about you when he does. The gifts from Singapore were a lovely gesture, and I hope you manage to get the phone storage sorted so you can actually use that Xiaomi scale.

Hello @septabchips His latest job allowed him to travel abroad related to his work. As for that weight scale, not sure even though I'm disciplined enough to lose weight.

You didn't have someone giving you something? I'm sure it doesn't have to be a sibling.
