I remember when it happened. I happened to be looking for a job at that time. I had just gotten back home from job service and turned on the TV. I thought it was some awful joke. Surely this wasn't really happening.
I became hooked on the TV. One news program after another. My job search sort of went down the tube as I spent hours listening to people telling their stories. Searches, good byes. The pure horror of what had happened really hit home.
Now every year I have a good cry. I can't listen to the stories and the broadcasts they have each year. I light a candle and have my own personal tribute to the ones who didn't make it and the families.
Of course life goes on but my heart goes out to those who were involved in this horrible experience. I know karma is taking care of those evil pieces of sh*t who had to do with this awful thing.
What are your thoughts?

I was a freshman law school student that time. One of my professors' daughter was a flight attendant and he was so worried that his daughter might be on that plane.

I first heard about it on the radio while brushing my teeth before heading off to work, and I immediately thought of that scene in The World According to Garp where the little plane dived into the house... Of course, when I got to work, everyone was abuzz about it and every available TV was tuned to the news.
