Anak Krakatoa or the son of Krakatoa erupted. It is between Java and Sumatra Island. In 18 century the Krakatoa erupted and Made the word dark and more disaster. The Krakatoa itself disappeared after it. Then from the ruin, emergency Anak Krakatoa or the son of Krakatoa.
Flights are canceled in Jakarta.

I heard about it too. It seems like a pretty frightening volcano to keep an eye on. I know the original Krakatoa was so violent that the smoke it spewed affected the whole world before it finally sank into the sea, leading to the birth of Anak Krakatoa after it collapsed. I hope it doesn’t repeat the devastation its “mother” caused. Living in the Ring of Fire means eruptions happen from time to time, and we currently have about three very active volcanoes erupting as well.

@nawala123 Stay safe during these times when volcanoes are erupting, as their activity is unpredictable. They might show warning signs, but can suddenly erupt and catch you by surprise.

Yes living in fire is horrendous . Mount Merapi can be seen from my house every and it often eruption too

@nawala123 Yes, Mount Etna erupted in 1883. It was very active from December 878, to March 1883. This eruption is part of a long history of volcanic activity at Etna.
