One of our staff recommended his girlfriend and she started working today.
It was one hectic day and a few hours later, I couldn't find her anymore.
I asked the other staff where she went and they said, she's gone home!
They told me she went home crying.
She didn't even notify me nor my brother that she wanted to leave. She just disappeared like a smoke.

I guess that's better than you having to fire her.
I've had that happen at a couple of the jobs I've had. I was working with one young man at one job and he said he needed to use the bathroom. When he didn't come back, I checked the bathroom and aske others if they'd seen him. They told me he'd gone home to eat and never came back. We weren't even doing anything I'd consider dangerous.
The other guy saw me get burned with acid and decided the job wasn't right for him. I just had a small spot on my arm that got burned. I'd grabbed the squirt bottle of neutralizer and cleaned the area, then slapped a bandage over the spot. He watched me and asked if I needed to go to the hospital... I told him the danger was over as soon as I squirted neutralizer on the burn. He shook his head and left.
