I didn't get much accomplished today.

We've been on overload around here lately. Too much to think about, too many plans, and unfortunately too many worries. Neither son nor I felt like doing much this weekend. Other than having to pick up meds from Walmart Saturday and CVS today, that's pretty much it. So exciting, right?
We talked to some family on the phone...Grandpa called my son and they did talk for a little while. My youngest called and talked to both of us, too. I did make 2 casseroles, one for dinner and one for the freezer for when we need a meal and don't have time to make one. One of my friends stopped by with a quart of homemade strawberry ice cream for us--and OH, my son really enjoyed that.
It really was nice not to have to go anywhere! A very quiet holiday.

Take a breath miss lady. Nothing is going anywhere. I have to remind myself all the time of that,. So what, we come from prehistoric times. I think everything will be fine when people have to wait 10 minutes.

@MarieCoyle I hear that and and that is different, but you not doing anything if you cannot regroup and be there when needed, Just take a rest for his sake.

Other than cooking and laundry and a few have-to basics I didn’t do anything but just hang out, and be with my son.

Homemade strawberry ice cream? You’re speaking my language!
Mine was mostly great. We had a great time talking about the cruise, and we had some good pizza from Sam’s Club. Diana had some fresh strawberries too that were absolutely delicious. The kids just loved their presents too.

Well I guess the highlight was talking to my mom and dad. We talked for about an hour. They both sounded good So that was nice.
