The time Valentine’s Day was forgotten.

February 14, 2027, Valentine’s Day next year. The day restaurants are booked up, chocolates and flowers are bought, men propose, and the color red is prevalent. It is also the day of the Super Bowl next year. Now, I get that most Mylotters could not care less about American football. But I do, and over 250 million people worldwide do too. That’s not even the highest rating ever for it. Now, more than ever, I think long term couples are downplaying that day, for good reason. It’s excessively commercialized, and always has been. But it’s still a big deal to a gigantic number of couples. Will women “allow” their men to watch the game without guilt? Will men who don’t like sports let their wives who do, enjoy it without revealing their glee they don’t have to go out? Will you choose between a fake holiday and football? And will I, ever find a guy who loves sports as much as I do? Stay tuned…
