I hope he gets the chance to rebuild

It's3:22 PM, and the weather has turned gentle today. It's drizzling. The temperature's 30°C , and my phone says there's a thunderstorm around. I just had lunch at work, beans with garri. I added Coplan and sugar to the garri, enjoyed every bit. I love Coplan, even though its quite expensive these days. Thankfully, I was given one free Coplan yesterday, so that should last me for a few days. While visiting my mum yesterday, my sister shared a story that has stayed on my mind. She had stopped by the roadside to buy something when someone called her name. She turned and realized it was her secondary school physics teacher from about twenty years ago. He recognized her immediately, but she was saddened to see him looking worn out, stranded with car trouble. As they talked, he shared how life had changed. A child's illness had drained the family's savings, his business collapsed, and his wife eventually left with three children. Now he's trying to rebuild his life from almost nothing, trying to restart his business. My sister wished she could help financially, but she simply doesn't have the money. She promised to speak with a few people who might be willing to invest in his piggery business and help him get back on his feet. That story reminded me how unpredictable life can be. You may not see someone for20 years, and when you meet again, you discover they've been carrying burdens you could never have imagined. Circumstances can change so quickly, and a single event can turn someone's life upside down. It really is a reminder to be kind and to help where we genuinely can. We never truly know what someone else is going through. I sincerely hope things turn around for my sister's teacher, and that he gets the chance to rebuild."
