What Do You Think of the Human--Internet Connection?

On a Simpsons video I was watching they had some subjects that are things we see in the future. Do you think there will come a time when the internet is connected to the individual human?
"As society integrates the internet more and more into everyday life the destination between human intelligence and machine intelligence may become increasingly difficult to define."
Do you think this is impossible or something that is a probable integration to come? It seems like a trend that is already shaping the world?

I don't think it's impossible at all. When I think about how much technology has changed just during my lifetime, things we once thought sounded like science fiction are now part of everyday life. We already carry smartphones everywhere, use voice assistants and depend on the internet for work, communication, shopping and information. I use technology every day myself, so in a way I'm already constantly connected. ?? I'm not sure I'd want an actual internet connection inside my body or brain, though! Technology is useful, but I think there should always be a point where we can switch it off and simply be human without being permanently connected to something.

I'm getting too old to want that done to me. These young gamers and such would probably really enjoy this option.
