What a difference!

My glasses have desperately needed to be tightened. A pool buddy works at Pearle Vision and he took them in earlier in the summer. That was to get them straight. I guess a cat walked on them or something but they were very crooked. They only focused on getting them straight and didn't address the fact that they were loose as hell. Pearle is literally 2 minutes from work if I hit a red light. You'd think that it was in Timbuktu the way I kept putting off making that visit. Well after having to adjust them like 6 times a minute during lunch today I was like "enough is enough". I headed there and they were all cleaned and tightened. I can look down without worrying about them falling off of my face. It is like night and day. It took fewer than 10 minutes. The moral of the story is I have to be a grown-up and get them adjusted when I need to. It is so not out of my way and it is a very fast process. I'm just punishing myself by dealing with loose frames.
